looks official though Zorro ,, pity I aint played it in around 4 years
Hi Blyss!

My Mum told me monday they had received an e-mail Sunday from the National lottery telling them they had won 800,000 or something close to that amount. She said it looked very authentic but right down the bottom in small text it said Nigeria. The e-mail just asked them to click on links, which they didn't, but they went to the official site and found out they had won stuff all lol

Like you say, 4 years, most probably a hoax ;o) lol
Amazing how real they look.tho!

Beers on you then eh -Zorro-? I've only ever had one e-mail from them and I had won 2!! Wahey! :o)
If you haven't played for 4 years it is definately a hoax. You have to be in it to win it, as they say...
Yes we have had them, saying we have won loads of money, do not click on any of the links. Go to the lottery home page (not via the dodgy email) and check out any wins from there.
I got an e-mail saying I had one something on the Lottery, and that I should immediately contact the e-mail address quoted in the mail. First of all, I've never played the Lottery in my life, and second of all the e-mail address was a Hotmail account.

Needless to say, that mail got deleted without a second thought.
when you buy a ticket, you do not leave your details.

they are only given if you win and hand the ticket in - so how could they possible know you had won?
