Problems with Hoseasons
Hi i have just come back from the most atrociusly disgusting holiday camp ever, we left after one day as the caravan had broken windows, dirt all over the floors and seats and blood on the linen. I contacted hoseasons to tell them but they have refused to do anything about it or send us on another holiday, i would be interested to know if anyone else has had problems with hoseasons and not had them dealt with. I am personally horrified that a company that well known would treat its customers so badly.

Did you take any photos of the things you are complaining about. Did you complain to anyone on the holiday park at the time you were there? These things will help you in your fight for a refund or alternative holiday

Are you going to be following this up? Do you want compensation?
If so.........
you need to write to Hoseasons, listing all the things you were dissatisfied with. If you keep the letter fairly short and concise it will be better. In fact bullet point all the areas you were unhappy with. Advise them that you expect to receive a reply withing 28 days. Also include any photographic evidence that you may have.
When you get a reply, if it's to your satisfaction- yayyy to you, lol. Otherwise write again, explaining what areas are still not satisfactory answered to and again advise you expect a reply within 28 days.
If by the 2nd response you're still unhappy , you have two courses of action, you can either go via the small claims court or ABTA. Must warn you though, that holiday companies are EXTREMLY good at getting out of paying customers any money back (I know because that used to be my job- can you tell? LOL)
At all times keep your contact with them professional.
If you need any further advise gimme a yell, I'm always here....lol.
If you're just whinging about the holiday in general, I apologise for my ramblings- heh!

Hi
I really appreciate your answers. i did write to them and although i didnt have any photos the camp i stayed at said we had signed somethign to say there were no problems, of course we signed no such thing whihc should prove them to be liars when they cant produce this thing we supposedly signed, however hoseasons wrote back telling me they still couldnt so anything about it because the camp had denied it all. when i called the woman on the phone was actually pretty rude to me and so im not sure what to do next as i dont think writing again will mak them give me anything.

Hiya- me again :-)
If you still want to carry on this with them- and why shouldn't you- I would in your shoes, I'm afraid you need to write to them again. If you go to ABTA they will advise that the company is given at least 2 chances to respond to your concerns. I wouldn't recomend phoning them again, especially if they're rude- it's counter productive.
Have a look here- good luck :-)
