Anyone know the piece of music used in the woolwich advert where the man is climbing into a mail box with his shopping. I think it is also used in the film Truly Madly Deeply

Hi Heimlich

I also thought this was from Truly Madly Deeply and after doing a bit of searching for you, I found this which should answer your question!

Hi Mike

If you click on the link, further down the page, there is another link to an mp3 version of Bach's Cello Sonata in G Minor. That's the music.
Think it's actually
Concerto for Violin and Oboe in C minor: II. Adagio

Check it out here

Well I guess it must be if it says so on the Song of the Salesman site.

It certainly sounds similar to the cello sonata, but I did think it was probably played on different instruments in the advert, so that would explain it. I will listen carefully next time I see it!
