how do I clean silver jewellery

Does anyone have any good and quick tips on how to clean a silver cross and chain I do not have any silver or jewellery cleaner and I want to wear it tonight.

Hi Marle, Just use soap and water and your nail brush, give it a good rinse and dry with clean cloth. I've also used toothpaste which also does the job, Have a good night. cheers skylight

Try soaking your silver cross and chain in Coke...works a treat.........
