TUB is the extra word in the clue...

2 Fare, food for the table. Broadcast means it sounds like Fair, fine. Trailer is extra.

27 Viold, put in a small bottle, used by Milton (bard, poet). Viol is the instrument, with D for Dutch.

For 3 D, there is an old (so 'elderly') word, Weet, meaning 'recognise' - that's as much as I can see!

The  rest of the 3d. parsing is convoluted. The A is removed from 'drama'. WEET is also a Spenserian (Elizabethan) word for WET. Chambers has a synonym of WET as 'a dram, a debauch'
