He is elected an election does not always involve voting. Look at the BBC headline and even perhaps look it up.

I found it hilarious that when their new hate crime law came into force, about half of the 8000 reports to  the Scottish police was about his racist speech in (if memory serves) 2020. Predictably, he accused those of reporting his racist speech to be "far right"

That is a point, it's likely not so much that the individual leaders are not up to scratch, it's pretty much inevitable when the whole party is less than competent, what with it's obsession to split from the UK and get ruled by the unelected elite in the EU instead. Presumably they want the same border issues that Ireland now has. (Perhaps they'd like the immigrants to move north and join them ?)
