Most of the candidates focused on ULEZ instead of saying what they would actually do.  In the leaflet dropped through the door, one candidate said she wanted happy neighbourhoods.  How's that going to work then?  Is she going to knock on everyone's door and tell them to be happy? Another one said she will banish Woke. Not sure how she will do that either. Susan...

"What a blow for London and the whole of the UK."

Not really.

Imagine if Hall had been elected!!!

Any other couldn't have been worse. You could put that binhead guy in and he'd likely have a better record.

It's called democracy, what we all fight for. Congratulations.

\\The weather here in Sussex is crap.

The electric to our garage has died.

Our puppy has explosive diahorrea.//

Long may it continue.

Now if you can just apply that to Brexit and the failed Scottish Independence vote, anneasquith, you'll have cracked it.  🤣

Always had you down as a SNPer,annie.Welcome to us socialist,Labour ranks.

@18.56.A good reply Naomi. You beat me to it.

.

😂

Whoosh....

"Any other couldn't have been worse."

Unless you have the abillity to see into the future, I challenge your point of view.

I would suggest that like me, you're conclusions are based purely on what you think of the candidate. You think that Khan is bad for London based on you political views.

Many voters have given Khan a third term becuase his Consertaive opposition is...

...not great.

Notice how many of the anti-Khan mob aren't pro-Hall.

I assume that's because they acknowlege that...well...y'know.

Bidet.

Another one said she will banish Woke. Not sure how she will do that either. Susan Hall looked to me like a typical office manager and not sharp enough to run a multi-billion pound budget. It's not an easy job (and no, I didn't vote for Khan)

Anyway - I think we can all agree it's been a marvellous day.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturdays. Think of me, as I'm dragged off to our local multiplex to see The Fall Guy.

Ugh!

C'mon gulliver1.

BA for 237SJ!!!!!

Sky news report that Labour has also won the West Midlands mayor election, which would be rather an upset. Only Tees Valley left for the conservatives ...

Think when it was announced that the Tories had lost the West Midlands Mayor election and Labour had won was when it came from the lips of Beth Rigby... Bless

SP, be careful what you wish for.

One needs no ability to see into the future when the record of the past is in the public domain.

Sp 18.14 @ 19.14 ..Your wish has been granted .lol😀OK.

Why does London or the other regions need a mayor anyway ? Isn't  it a fantasy dreamt up by Tony Blair trying emulate the  Americans.

It seems to me to be too much power in the hands and whims of one individual.
