You've Got To Laugh Haven't You?

I support the Canaries and watch the replays when i can and sometimes go, i enjoy watching England rugby and cricket on TV. Do many on here enjoy watching sport?.
Come on City!
We love the big ticket events; Golf Masters, British Open, men's and women's, all horse racing but especially Ascot, Olympics (I will watch every single possible minute from BMX to Marathon), World Cup football to local league football (Woxham and Gt Yarmouth), Gymnastics, and Darts.
I'm not keen on Rugby or Cricket though.
I have a season ticket for my local Premier League team. VAR is sucking the life out of the game. I watch football on TV but don't enjoy it that much, very second best to being there. I quite enjoy listening to it on the radio.
I go to a few cricket matches each year - Test or one-days. I watch horse racing, cricket, rugby and tennis on TV. I am conflicted when I watch horse-racing and a horse has a bad fall or "goes wrong" and you know what the beautiful animal's fate is.
I used to play football (park pitch level) and tennis (with friends) and now play badminton with the same group of mates most weeks.
I watch lots of sports but I do it mainly with the sound turned off. I can't do with commetators and pundits who get money for old rope. I can't believe the coverage that womens' rugby and football receive. Quite obviously not a good standard, but it is women, so it must be covered. It's ok if you don't mind watching the lack of skill, pace and intensity. π
Oh and don't forget snooker and tennis. And by that I mean they are the only 2 sports I know of where the players receive a round of applause for having been to the toilet. Tis true! π
