If he don't meet up with me next week do I tell him no point taking anymore?

What do you think you should do?

I don't know.

Who does?

Question Author

If we don't meet up then suppose not

Question Author

He said he went to see his friends last nights so he could have met up this week

Perhaps he didn't want to.

I thought when he said he'd "be in touch" after your last date on the 17th that he didn't sound like he was very keen to make another date. Maybe he is not looking for anything serious. If so, best to find out now and move on. He certainly sounds as though he has been able to meet up but hasn't even tried to suggest anything.

Question Author

So is it best to suggest we don't talk no more if he don't want to. I told him I got a week off from 5th

My thoughts on this is that it my come off as being rather odd to suggest that you don't talk anymore, if he doesn't want to.

If someone said that to me, I'd be thinking that it's them that doesn't want to talk, and they're just uncomfortable about the whole thing. I say this from experience (yes I have been in a similar situation myself, as I turned to online dating) and have acted in a similar manor to Abbey (from what I can tell, since I'm not privy to exactly what is being put in the messages).

Abbey, you've only been at Selco for ..what..4 or 5 weeks, and you're already taking a week off?

Question Author

Yes it my birthday

Pass me the cattle prod😁

What ! A company gives staff a week off for their birthday ?

🀯

Abbey if you keep taking time off from work you are at serious risk of losing this job. Most people work on their birthday never mind taking the week off. What sort of impression are you giving your bosses?

Abbey, if you haven't yet asked for time off, forget it and go to work as your rota is arranged. Don't pretend to be sick either or you could easily be dismissed with no job at all.

Is this week you're taking off unpaid, abbey?  I can't imagine any company giving you a week off paid after working such a short time with them.  You really need to take this job seriously.  Don't muck it up.

When my son was on a probationary period I told him not to take any days off or holidays for at least the first 6 months and to try not to take any sick days as you can be let go without any reason given in that first few months. If you want to keep this job try not to take days off until you have passed probationary period.

Is this genuine or a joke post?
