My friend recently booked a flight for to dublin with ryan air for december but when she put my name down she put it down wrong (she put Vicky when its Victoria on my passport) will i need to change it? if so will it cost? how much?

No this is not usually a problem. Just ring the airline in advance to check it out though. I always put Jackie and never my name Jacqueline as in my passport!!!!

I've often just put 'Chris', rather than Christopher on my Ryanair bookings. It's never been a problem.

Inform the Airline ASAP, with the recent increase in security even a spelling discrepencey could cause them not to accept you for the flight. We had this problem with BMI last month but corrected the spelling of my friends christian name wiith no problem as it was an e-ticket, at no charge.
