Am going to make it at weekend - she did mention 190 heating of the oven - is that fan assisted. Thanks

JJ I think it was probably this one.

170 for fan but I prefer to turn the fan off for cakes. Personal preference

made it today but just used half of the ingredients - very nice indeed and no fuss.

Ahhh JJ I was going to ask how it went! What filling did you use?

none as I gave some to neighbour who unexpectedly called. Sponge was sweet enough but if I make another one I would just use fresh cream.
