I have a file containing a long list of addressed envelopes. I now want to add a few to the list but can't figure out how to do it.

Help appreciated.

If it's a word file, don't you just open it and edit it? I don't think I understand what you need. A bit more info?

Thanks Atheist, I've got it now. I type out the new address on envelope format in Word, - save as - name it - save.  It the appears in my documents  and I drag and drop it into the addresses file.

It's so long since I did this.

You've lost me, Khandro; but it's good that you've sorted it.

google "filemerge in word" and it tells you - involves ;insert

which I have to say I have never used

Oh if you want to do it in Excel - access the excel-is-fun site on You tube. There are about 1000 work arounds for various things.

mail merge is but one
