Sacre Bleu!

Well hardly news but certainly welcome. Keep Putin guessing. He's not the only leader suggesting military intervention.

France along with Britain led the way in sending long range missiles while Scholz has always prevaricated on this.
Meanwhile, the people of Volhynia, Ukraine have a pub ... 😄😄😄 - in Lutsk

One has to be wary of a politician who swings from one extreme to another. Good he is on board but the next step is getting the US to take the situation seriously again; and the sooner the better before the front line shifts much further westward.

Macron hasn't though gone from one extreme to the other.

But he has, wanting to pally up to Putin with useless talks, right through to taking direct action against him.

That was ages ago and it wasn't "pallying up" it was admittedly very frustratingly thinking he could talk sense into Putin. France has armed Ukraine with its most effective weapons for many months

And arming Ukraine is where we presently need to be.

I agree it's a change of rhetoric. I hope it's not just that
