LB - I'm not really sure but not on display. I still have my kidney stones tucked away in a cupboard. It would just have been interesting to see them. Incidentally I was telling my optician that the cataract in one eye had the same effect as looking through a steamed-up window whilst the other eye had a change in focal length but vision was still clear; he said that there are several types of cataract and I had a different type in each eye.

Thank yoy bhg if ever I need to know anything else about cataracts I know where to come;-)

I had a cataract done some time ago under a local anaesthetic .

The only  ' problem'   i recall was having to keep still throughout the operation  . I think if i recall correctly i  had not eaten and my stomach was feeling a bit odd and i  was struggling a bit to relax .

I recall the surgeon humming to himself , while doing the operation  -  lol.

He was a corneal graft specialist and was  considered to be the best in Europe
