23 Sad sack is defined, in Chambers, as a Misfit - and that comes from F I, following one, in (inside) Mist, fog.

3 D Great-go is listed in Bradfords, under exams. Grego is an overcoat and At could be 'working on' so Gre at  Go....

Is the first one Ones or one's?

Is it given as 7 or 5,2?

There is a degree course in Greats if that's relevant

Sorry, crossed crossword posts, Neveracrossword
