Annoying spam

I have been getting spam e-mails recently about the stock exchange that I am just not interested in.Blocking the sender seems to be a waste of time because the person just changes their alias name which allows them to get through. I hate spammers. Why do they do it and how can I stop getting the messages?

I have been getting the same spam e-mails for months funkyrich, keep blocking each & everyone and they do come less frequent......... I've only received the one this week!

Do you use POP or IMAP, for example with Outlook Express? Change to Thunderbird. It's free, does a better job, and has a good bayesian spam filter (it learns).
