Group e-mails being rejected

Can any body suggest how I can overcome group e-mails I send out to about 50 members of a local organisation being rejected because their ISP probably thinks they are spam? AOL users seem to be particularly vulnerable to this treatment, with me getting the return message "Too many AOL recipients in a single message". I've requested that members store my e-mail address in their e-mail address book, but beyond that am stuck for ideas. I don't have the time to e-mail all individuals on a separate basis.

Do you add all the names in the "to" area? try adding them all in the "bcc" box.
Why not try splitting the 50 into two groups of 25 or even 5 10's. At the most it would be 5 emails not 50.
