the israeli government seeks to liquidate the population of gaza and conquer the land. they don't need to round them up - they have them trapped in a few square miles into which they have inhibited the flow of food, water, and medicine. famine conditions are extremely close to setting in. they are also targeting areas they have deemed safe with the result of, surprise surprise, killing scores of people who have fled the combat zone and precious few terrorists.... indeed they have mysteriously done a much better job of killing aid workers doctors and journalists. the result is a deliberate infliction of conditions inimical to human life. another illustrative point of comparison might be what stalin did to ukraine in the 1930s.
