I loved bread pudding.  Bread and butter pudding is OK but no custard please.   I hate custard, especially egg custard.

Mine's always crispy on top too, pasta. And I scatter mixed peel over it, gives a nice change of texture.

i must have a go at bread pudding, just to see what it's like.

Vagus, my lovely nan used to make it a lot  in a large roasting pan.  Wonderful stuff.  What I liked best though was her apple yorkshire. Yorkshire pudding, again in that roasting pan, filled with apple slices, topped with brown sugar and caramelised.
