I would be delighted if someone could help me. When I receive WhatsApp messages on my Galaxy A12 that contain photos , how can I save or transfer the photos into my mobile's Gallery folder?

WhatsApp photos are stored automatically to your phone. If you download and install a file manager from Google's Playstore, you will be able to copy them into your photos folder.

As already mentioned, WhatsApp photos are automatically stored on your phone.

I have a different phone to you, but the principal will be the same:

When I open my photo album, I can only see photos and videos that I took using my phone. At the bottom there are several options to select and one of them is "library". When I click on library, other options are available such as "WhatsApp Videos" and "WhatsApp Images". Click on whichever one you need and the files will be available to view.

Thanks both, problem sorted.

It was sorting out the Gallery view that I was in a pickle with, not the saving/transferring.
