Conversion from Gas units to kilowatt hours

Trying to work out a gas bill from reading the meter myself. What is the conversion of gas units to kilowatt hours? I have tried doing the calc using BGs info on the reverse of the gas bill but can't get anywhere.

Loosehead

The gas bill is calculated in Therms and the formula is usually on the bill somewhere, look at an old bill. Kilowatt hours are a measure of electricity. Although the energy figures can be converted I don't know why you'd want to do that.

All gas bills now use killowatt hours as a standard measure. Can anyone tell me the conversion

Very good as an answer, Chris, but don't you think just a bit OTT?
100 cubic feet is about 30kWh, but it depends a bit on the caloric value of the stuff they are pumping into your house. 30 is good enough though.
