"lady sings the blues" with Diana Ross
"Whistle Down the Wind" always gets me...

http://imdb.com/title/tt0055618/
Definitely watch it. And just coz you havent seen hope floats I should still get at least one star, coz I still answered :-) a perfect world is quite sad too :-(
All the above and Terms of Endearment.

Beaches, Steel Magnolias, Pay It Forward, The Champ, Go Towards The Light and Philadelphia all have me sobbing!
Waterloo Bridge starring Vivienne Leigh and Robert Taylor.
The Search starring Montgomery Clift. It is set (and filmed) in postwar Europe - the bombed out cities really are bombed out cities. One little boy, released from a concentration camp escapes from the childrens home and goes to live among the ruins and is then befriended by a GI (Montgomery Clift). Meanwhile the little boys mother is looking for him. I watched this whilst ironing one afternoon and had to unplug the iron because I could no longer see through my tears.
I cry at everything but Whistle down the wind and a Place for Annie have me sobbing for hours!!
Philadelphia definately and pay it forward was sad too
Gladiator always seems to bring a tear to my eyes.
indecent proposal gets me every time at the end when he's out on the deck and she sits behind him and says "have i ever told you that i love you" and he goes "still" and she says "always" god it gets to you right in the gut. What a fab film where it shows money isnt the answer to everything.
Bambi!
Love Letters (1984)

Jamie Lee Curtis & James Keach
I forgot about Waterloo Bridge!

Beaches and The Champ get me everytime..and the cartoony film Watership Down - still can't watch that and I am 32!!!
