does anyone no of a good way to prevent shaving rash? The skin on my neck has always been really sensitive to shaving, I think its because my skin is stretchy & my face hair is really coarse. there has to be a way of toughening up ur skin or something? I'v tried different shavers & wet shaving isn't any better.
Any advice greatly appreciated

my partner suffers a rash on his neck after shaving, he uses sudocream! he just rubs a little into his neck soon safter shaving and it cures it completley, taking away all the redness and spots in under an hour.

it works for him anyway

Wet shaving will always be best, I cant dry shave at all, rips me to pieces and I still need to wet shave afterwards.
Go to the Body Shop, yes the Body Shop!! and get some shaving cream, buy a good quality triple blade razor, you will not get a smooth shave with a cheap disposable.
Then shave with the hottest water as you can stand, it will help if you can soak your face with a hot flannel for a minute or two before hand, then shave immediately.
Good luck.

If you can get away with only shaving every other day, it will give your skin a chance to recover, not always possible I know.

Have you tried a "Shaving Oil" as opposed to gel or foam ?
A bit more expensive but well worth it. If you can get one that contains Menthol, they are really good.
Good luck
