I don't usually have trouble posting links but this morning I tried to post one several times with no success. I tried again - this time putting a couple of spaces beneath it - and it worked. Whether it was a fluke or a cure, I don't know - but it's worth a try.

I've put this here rather than in Technology or Editor's Blog in the hope that more people will see it.

On my 'phone, I put a space, then delete it and that works for some reason.

Posting is a problem if you simply paste and don't actually type anything. Adding and deleting a character bypasses the bug.
