Welcome to the November 2023 edition of the Quizzes & Puzzles round-up.

NOTICE: Please remember it is vital that you add contact details i.e. email or postal address, the closing date, the cost, where the quiz funds will be going and the theme of the quiz, thanks.

Closing in November 2023

1. 100 brief questions all requiring a common 2 part answer. In aid of MAGPAS. £2 entry fee. Closing date is 23rd November 2023.

2. RNLI West Bridgford Branch. 30 not so general knowledge questions plus 30 pictures to identify. £2 entry fee. Closing date is 30th November 2023.

3. Capitals of the World. In aid of 6th Chatteris Brownies. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 30th November 2023.

Closing in December 2023

4. AUTUMN quiz. in aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 2nd December 2023.

5. Sibsey Bowls Club new roof. 60 questions - 30 answers contain the consecutive letters SI, BS or EY and 30 answers are places in Lincolnshire. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 9th December 2023.

6. Westerns. ShelterBox Quiz. £1.25 entry fee. Closing date is 25th December 2023.

7. Brothers. New Asbestos Action quiz. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st December 2023.

8. Butterflies and Moths. New Soroptimist quiz. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st December 2023.

Closing in January 2024

9. HIGHAM FERRERS. HIGHAM FERRERS quiz for Save the Children. £1.50 entry fee. Closing date is 10th January 2024.

10. A tour around the Scottish Borders. 70 questions (cryptic, anagram, GK, hidden in plain sight) that will lead you to towns or villages in the Borders. £1/£1.25 entry fee. Closing date is 13th January 2024.

11. Winter is Coming. Raising money for Water Aid. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st January 2024.

The latest quiz sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tiverton is now available raising funds for Save the Children. The theme is "Indoor Games" and the entry fee is £1 with prizes totalling £100. Closing date is 29th February 2024. For a copy, email [email protected]

Honiton Library's latest quiz is Merry Quizmas, a selection of anagrams, Christmas trivia and film scenes.  The prize is a £20 gift card.  Closing date is Saturday 13th January 2024.  Please email [email protected] for a copy.  £1 per quiz, cash only, payable when you return your completed entry.  All proceeds to the charity that runs libraries in Devon, Libraries Unlimited.  Good luck!

Raising funds for: Pendleside Hospice (Hospice Care for Burnley & Pendle)

Prize: £30

Closing Date: Twelfth Night - 6th January 2024

48 Dingbats representing something to do with Christmas and the Festive period. They could be Christmas carols, Christmas songs, Festive phrases, Christmas films, Christmas characters, Festive foodstuffs..... well, it could be anything so long as it's associated with the Festive Period!!!

Pay on line via PayPal ( https://paypal.me/dingbats273?locale.x=en_GB ) and have the Dingbats emailed or posted to you. The minimum donations are £1.50 for an emailed copy or £3.00 for a posted copy.
