I must admit to liking it and feel sad.  Its not like the other soaps in any way.   It tacklesa lot of social attitudes  and topical situations, and has lot of good actors. I will miss it.  I expect it will be replaced with more rubbish reality shows that cost very little to produce.

Can't believe my eyes!! There is so much absolute rubbish on and they pick this to drop.

Thanks for the news Lottie, you've really p'd me off.  😱

Sorry.

P'd me off too

Did they ask the viewers, who pay their salaries, for their opinion. I bet you no they didn't.....a bean-counter decision.

I forgive you.  We have another year of it to go which has got to be good, I suppose.

It's the only soap that Mr L likes too

Question Author

Correct DT.  I'd just finished watching yesterday's episode when Mr L informed me.

Well I guess there could be a 'Keep the Doctors' campaign beginning..... NHS means 'No Health Soaps' though.

Will we now have repeats for years to come?  Like they do with so many other things such as Mrs Brown's Boys.

This is the only soap I watch,  will be sorry to see it go.......

I remember watching that ages ago and thinking it was a nice little programme.  Shame they've decided to take it off.  Perhaps they don't swear enough.

I used to watch it years ago too...didn't realise until recently that it was still running. It's a shame when dramas that aren't violent or OTT are cancelled.

TV, overall, is quite dire now. Probably gearing up for the run-up to C*******s.

Question Author

Your right Naomi.  Varied, easy watching and a nice 1/2 hr of relaxion and and lot of humour from this man who wrote and directed a lot of the episodes who is very  talented

The other good thing too is that there are breaks from it so it never gets tedious?
