what is a rat.dvd file as i am in the process of downloading a dvd and my pc does not recognise these files. ( perhaps because the download is still ongoing? )
will i be able to burn as usual with nero or watch with power dvd or media player once downloaded.

i believe its a compressed DVD file (similar to an mp3 for music). you will need a program to uncompress/watch the file when it has downloaded
