I think the Jesuits ( or Jays) are like most other land owners - if you pay your rent they leave you alone.

[Agric tenancy men will know it  has to be paid on the nail (day) or else they can re-let to someone else, on that day!!!!).

none of this urban - "I'll give you the rent next week yeah?" It is a hard life on the dales!
