Yet to be proven in the courts but some hope that it comes off - I count a total of 15 states involved in some degree. If the judgement is made about the 14th Amendment, will the others follow? No doubt, we'll see the AB Trumpists out here trumpeting about how unfair and undemocratic this legal action is but the man is solely responsible for the legal pickles he is in.

Ich, But if there's no valid reason to exclude a candidate from the ballot papers,

well the states say there is - - to exclude from a Fed election

It is a branch of American law none of us have knowledge and experience of - Obama used to lecture on this apparently. We have little idea of federal courts telling the state courts what to do (or even run parallel cases on the same facts) - and none at all of state courts affecting federal procedure.

If litigation ( on whether any of this is lawful) spreads over the election period - I have no idea what the law is
do they say trump can stand and then possibly be disqualifeid
or do they say he can't stand whilst it is heard
