Our heroes arrived in a country where homosexuality is illegal with conviction bringing severe penalties for transgressors.
Why disappoint fans and invite harsh punishment by openly displaying man on man action onstage going against cultural and legal difference?
If Mr 1975 had been flaunting drug taking would his hosts be subject to the same slightly snoffy reportage from the achingly inclusive?

The lovely British Empire btw did not introduce Muslim law neither did we force Christianity on them. The British did prevent communism to flourish who would certainly not accept Homosexuality to flourish if the Brits hadn't kept communist insurgents out.. UK not responsible . Muslim law is.
It's just his version of moaning about stuff on the Internet. The only difference between him and us is that
A) he's not afraid to do it under his own name.
B) more than a few hundred folks are listening.
untitled: "do you disagree with that? " - with what?

Well they've had plenty of time to alter what they started with, clearly they have not wanted to. Their choice.
yep and one well worth criticising
Criticism of laws and culture are a fundamental base for free speech, and no-one would argue with that.

And one aspect of that notion, is that pop stars tend to speak their minds from stages in the interests of provocative attention-seeking.

They rarely absolutely understand the issues on which they opine, ie consider the consequences of their behaviour.

Put it down to the unchanged and unchanging folly of youth.
Just another silly, spoilt, person who is trying to make himself look big and it backfired on him, play your music and keep out of politics,he does not like their laws but was willing to play there and take their money.
