My email access has been unreliable lately but the fault has been with VM.

It is now saying that there is a Proxy error?
Is that something or theirs?

Thanks

Virgin Media does seem to getting reports of problems at the moment:

If you're trying to access your email via VM's website, try using an email app (such as Windows Mail) instead - or vice versa, of course.

I tried Thunderbird and it worked okay.

VM made a total mess when I moved house. I ended up with three different accounts.

I am off to bed, will try again in the morning. Say hello to the kittens :-)
My VM e mail server has been awful for a couple of days but seems ok now. I use eM Client for my mail but was thinking about going over to Thunderbird - any opinions ??
Many thanks

fbg - I use Thunderbird as a backup to VM webmail. I can't seem to work out how to do things on Thunderbird. VM has been awful lately. Trying to phone them is a nightmare.
Evening Wolf,
Trying to get in touch with VM is awful - it would be easier to speak to the man in the moon !! Had serious problems with VM recently, due to Cadent cutting through the VM cable under the pavement !! Much too long a story to go into it on here. If I didn't have a package with VM I'd leave them tomorrow !! Be lucky.

You can have multiple email clients on your computer if you so choose. So it can't hurt to give Thunderbird a go. (It's basically modelled on Microsoft Outlook).
Thanks for the replies folks, will certainly give thunderbird a go.
