Farl
Is a Farl a biscuit? RAF, backwards and L, roman numeral.
Thanks, bookbinder. I'd seen potato farls and soda farls, but didn't really think of those as confectionery or biscuits... you can tell I have a sweet tooth!

Yes, Hazlinny - your farl led the way!
PS I should have just checked Chambers, a farl is defined as 'the quarter of a round cake of flour or oatmeal, a cake.'
