Ellipsis, I referred to Brainiac’s question lest he be excluded from the conversation. Pleased that ClareCG0ld has now acknowledged it at least.

PP, you’ve already done that joke.

Zacs, another old one.

You boys certainly try hard. :o)

Thanks Prudie and lottie.

If it's getting silly I suggest she stops backing herself into a corner and/or giving childish dismissive answers. It will soon stop.

Another old what?
> Ellipsis, I referred to Brainiac’s question lest he be excluded from the conversation.
ClareTG0ld, ‘rights’ and people’s views in them is not what we’re talking about.
^ Not your problem, though Naomi. There wasn't any response that showed brainiac was ignored when you continued with your interrogation.
ClareT's link is quite worrying. I think the decline in support for trans people is due to the prevalence of a very small minority of 'me me me' types and faux trans people who are exploiting the system for their own ends.
'ClareTG0ld, ‘rights’ and people’s views in them is not what we’re talking about'

It's exactly what we're talking about!
Zacs, I suggest you either join in the discussion or go away. You’re making a twit of yourself again. Your deliberately derogatory posts have been mentioned elsewhere - and not in a good way.

Ellipsis, does posting that signify something?
I have joined in the discussion.
Whilst you're here, would you care to answer my assertion that putting the decision as to whether a young person is or isn't trans in the hands of a school is potentially dangerous?
Students decide if they wish to present as trans - not schools.
And if they present as trans and genuinely are trans, but the school decide they aren't, is that a good thing?
Schools aren’t going to decide one way or another. Single sex schools are simply now at liberty to refuse a place to someone who presents themselves as trans.
They're at liberty to make a decision on someone's freedom of expression. That can never be a good thing for genuinely trans people. Surely you can't agree that it is?
-- answer removed --
Schools aren’t making a decision on freedom of expression. Boys presenting themselves as girls are free to do that - just not in an all girls school.
We'll have to see what the wording is and I'm sure there will be a trial case or two.
