Has been an ok day.
We had our hair cut, the dog groomer got the days mixed up so dog is being done tomorrow instead of today. Himself ordered four pairs of new specs from Asda and I found some there which I’ll order when I’ve had my eye test. Found a waterproof mattress protector in dunelm ready for grandson coming to stay (he’s 3), himself has dug out a new flower bed in the front garden ready, almost, for planting.
And we have some exciting things to look forward to as from next Monday, yay!
Pleased to hear you have had a good day .I am laughing at you saying himself as my sister’s husband now deceased used to call her herself .
Are you from the Highlands of Scotland .

Is he so fashion-conscious that he has to have a one pair for lounging at home, one pair for going down the pub, one pair for taking the dog for a walk and one pair for unblocking the drains - or is he just excessively prone to losing them?
Of course, chris, he’s very fashion conscious..NOT!
Asda do two for £120 on one offer, so he got two pairs of readers, and two pairs of distance. His prescription had changed quite a lot from last year (and he hadn’t updated his specs for a couple of years before that) so he bit the bullet and just went for it.
Hoorah for Asda specs and swim suits!!! :)
So you don’t have any spare pairs diddly? We both have a spare of our readers and distance.
He can’t have varifocals because he needs a prism in his specs. I on the other hand can, and do, and in Asda varifocals are the same price as those without so they’re far from being expensive.
Looking at what you pay in spec savers, it’s virtually the same as Asda. I’m glad you’re happy with yours, we’re very happy with ours, and that’s what’s important.
