I don't think we'll know until the next general election.
No.The best thing to happen to Labour is getting rid of Corbyn. He lost the last election for Labour.Anti-semitism and Jew hatred should have no place in a modern day democratic socialist party.
Let's wait and see who replaces her. If they are good the SNP may come zooming back.
The question though, is whether this will result in labour picking up a few Scottish seats. We won't know until the GE.
i hope so but i don’t get the impression that people were voting SNP because of her so i doubt it
//i don’t get the impression that people were voting SNP because of her//

No, but it may well be for the direction she was going or promised. She promised to put Scotland first at the last election I seem to recall although that didnt actually materialise.

If the next SNP leader puts independence on the back burner (not gone but accept the once in a generation thing) and looks to put Scotland first then the SNP could gain more votes.

IMHO it really depends on the new leader and how much trust the Scottish have in that person.
They may benefit slightly, but if voting SNP is still seen as a patriotic obligation one resignation isgoing to change much. Indeed since she was rather controversial the party may pick up the votes of those who hope a more sane direction from the party will be the result.
I don't think so. As I said n the other thread support for the SNP doesn't equate to an overwhelming desire for independence but is a result of the electorate's dissatisfaction with both Labour and the Conservatives. They feel they have no one else to vote for.
