Does anyone know of any courses in tarot reading in London or Essex? Or individual tuition, leading to a qualification of some sort? (I don't want to do it online or by correspondence course.) Thanks.

local colleges sometimes do tarot tuition..perhaps you could phone some to enquire..also if you bought the predictions magazine they have a directory in the back..you will have to be carefull where you go for this tuition as some of them charge arms and legs for tuition..the bsy college in exeter does a really good correspondence course which you can pay for monthly and you also get a certificate..my other half has a certificate and diploma from innervision.and a diploma from bsy,,,and she has read a lot herself..some of them may teach you and run you a certificate up on computer but they are just worthless ...their is an excellent new age shop in convent garden that do tarot readings sell books and i am sure they could help you but i cant remember the name of the shop as i was just passing through...mbearzodiac

There are really good books on the market - have you considered these???? do you really need a qualification? If you do, definately try a New Age Book Shop. But if it's only for fun... there are lots of great books EG: Tarot Made Easy by Nancy Garen, which is a 300-odd page book with loads of info and gets you into it ASAP!

Best of luck!

get rachael pollocks books or paul fenton smith and teach yourself..the riderwaite cards are the best to learn from as they have pictures on the minor arcana...i am a proffesional reader and i know many in my line of work and only myself has qualifications...in the area i live in...allthough by studying in depth i have a better understanding..i still read books on the tarot even though i have been reading for years...as i am always open to learning and some times i see the cards different.....best of luck...mullein
