Jobs/Professions That I Can’t Comprehend People Choosing To Do!

The main one is being a dentist! I just cannot fathom why anyone would want to spend all day looking into peoples mouths, fiddling with their often manky teeth, bad breath……(apart from the money).just the whole thought of it makes me cringe…….

What jobs can’t you understand why anyone would want to do??

My first Saturday job was in a shoe shop (one of the cheaper brands that was locally known as the plastic shoe factory) and the smell of the sweaty feet after a long day of helping people try on plastic shoes was horrendous. I always wondered then how people could even consider becoming a chiropodist.

At a follow-up consultation with my consultant after a recent colonoscopy, we were chatting and I asked him if he'd ever worked out how many colonoscopies he'd done - 'I suppose it must be in the hundreds?' I said.
He paused for a moment or two then replied ' oh no, it must be in the
thousands ,at one point I was doing over 400 a year' !

The police, they get it wrong sometimes and there's a few wrong uns, but dealing with the most violent, dishonest, angry, drunk, drugged up, emotionally and mentally distressed members of society must be impossible at times.

Tax Inspector - you spend most of your day in an office checking accounts and when you do get to meet your "clients" it's usually very confrontational.
