My Friends Pancreatic Cancer Staging

My friend has had an ERCP done to find out the staging of the pancreatic cancer and consultant said T4 N1. Surgery is not an option due to the location of the tumour near a major blood vessel. Chemotherapy may be an option depending on his general health. He Is being referred to the oncologist. This is all rather sad. Anyone know what the likely outcome is? Is 1 year being optimistic?

Depends how he responds to chemotherapy.
If he responds well, then he might see Christmas 2023, but if he does he just might make Christmas 2022.......might.
