I had some dalliances with a lass called Pippa. Bought back pleasurable memories of exhaustion :-)

It's a nice name, but is short for Phillipa.

My preference for names like this is to use the full version on the birth cert but then call them the shortened name. Not so bad for Pippa but names like Charlie wouldnt look good if they become CEO of Barclays whereas Charles would.
