dinosaures were millions of years ago and the bible was only thousands of years ago supposedly.
Tongue in cheek answer

Cos dinosaurs were invented by evolutionists in the 19th century.
People in biblical times knew nothing about dinosaures - hence the 'Adam & Eve' attempt to explain how we got here
- but those are just my beliefs! Others have difference views which I fully respect!

I think you'll find in genesis that it says that ''there were giants in that time'' somwhere so i can only assume they meant dinosaurs..perhaps?

Dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible they just used different words (such as tanniyn, behemoth and leviathan). The word 'dinosaur' only came into general use in the 19th century.

So dzug wasn't far wrong.
I heard once that Dinosaurs fossil remains were only discovered in the 19th Century and found to have been millions of years old, this contradicted the Christian beliefs and the so called God created Earth theory and angered the Church to the extent that the leading Scientists working on these excavations were ordered to stay silent.
Years later their findings were made public.
I often wonder how us humans have the same bone structure and bone make-up as a Dinosaur, ie vertebra, thigh bones, hips, skull etc. We must have branched off from one source at one point in the past.
For the sake of clarity, it's important to understand that there are a fair number of Christian believers that don't attribute the world or creation as being only 6,000 years old or so. It's too lengthy of a subject to define here, however, in my view, unfortunately most 'creationists' are tarred with the same young earth brush. Many of us believe the Bible and science can be reconciled and evidence certainly supports the universe as being near 14.5 billions of years old and the earth somewhere near 4.5 billions of years... with all due respect ot alternate opinions...
If I was writing a book - a really big book - telling the history of the world, and I had to decide what bits to leave out for reasons of space I think I would have left in the bit about the dinosaurs. It would have been far more exciting. Like Jurassic Park.
You might have warned us, fielakind, that the reference you gave is a creationist site. I wasted almost twenty seconds of my life before I realised it.
because they didnt know about anything then and made the whole book up as they went along, long live science.
