Travelling to Thailand

Do you think it is safe to travel to Thailand ? We are going to Hua Hin in February which is a plane to Bangkok and then a coach.

I am heading out there for a few months in November at I think it will be fine, since it looks like the king approves of the coup it is very unlikley that anyone will try to overthrow the new military government. Some places are actually safer now than before the coup since the islamic militants in the south also approve of the coup.

You should be fine I wouldnt worry too much about it. Thailand is brilliant have a great time

Everything here is fine, no-one is stressed (other than some of Taksin's cronies). Taksin has (seemingly) accepted it, and opinion polls show 80%+ of the population are in favour.

It should have sorted itself out by Feb next year... I'm off there for a couple of months over xmas and have been asking the same question... someone I know living out there is confident it'll be ok... have a great time...

I'm sure you'll be fine. The coup doesnt even seem to make the news now. I know if I was going (and I wish I was) I certainly wouldnt be put off
