May I ask if we will be regularly informed about donations. Not information of who has donated, but details of how much has being donated. And also what donations have achieved to help AB.

MissT, yes that was my first thought when I first came into the thread and saw the BA. Programmers are very expensive (I know I am one at the moment) but many are happy to do a bit extra for their pet projects and lets face it AB is never going to be in the Facebook league is it so a bit on non gratis even though its a 'business' wouldnt be a problem. I imagine that the idea of awarding the work to a firm rather than a jolly decent offer from any expert who is a member of AB has to cover privacy and some come back if faults arise thereafter.

Can you imagine the replies had one of the Eds posted to ask, during lockdown or at any other time, if anyone was capable and able to offer voluntary services to cover this type of undertaking?!

Choux, I doubt whether donations will reach anywhere near what is needed to pay a reputable company. Perhaps an invite to mail the ed if you feel you could take this on. Names could not be mentioned.
