Oars are vital, especially if you do not have engine power! Dinghy oars are available in solid wood, aluminum and some are even two-piece for easy storage!
No doubt they are but would the SAS/SBS not need to check for oars before they carry out the attack?
Throw them a couple.

Gawd you really cant think out the box can you?
Don’t indulge the lunacy and fantasies any further, TheCorbyLoon, nurse will be round with the medicine cabinet shortly.

I give up!
We sent them some sheet, what more do they want?
"We sent them some sheet, what more do they want?"

How about money rather than "sheet"?

I was unsure because usually the poster talks about kicking the sheet out of Labour…..or just talks sheet maybe?
Just for once could this country show some backbone, tell Johnny Foreigner to shove it and raise the standard high?
One needs results to believe there are effective patrols as paid for. As it is we are obviously owed a rebate for failure to provide the agreed service.

10clarionstreet- part of me sometimes thinks we should allmost treat it like an invasion.... but we know its never gonna happen, imagine the horror around the world and the court cases ... and the protests here. If there waving a white flag on there dinghy should they still be shot. No goverments gonna come close to doing that. The only way is to reach a better agreement with France for them to stop it or allow our boats to patrol there waters/beaches and turn them round.... but why would France ever agree to that???
Off shore processing/detention centre seemed to nearly work down here.
Wasn't as cheap as blowing the crap out of them though.
Or as quick,,
Of course it was tongue in cheek stuff, bobbinwales. But it needs something drastic. Something radical. Someone who will not shirk from the need to make this stop because as sympathetic as we might be for these people, we just haven't got the capacity to keep taking them in.

The majority are young male economic migrants. The Albanians are coming from a safe country - in no way are the refugees.
I have no sympathy for any of them.

Albanian migrants have boasted of visits to the London Eye just days after crossing the Channel in small boats.

They have posted videos and pictures on TikTok recording their journey from Albania, across the Channel on small boats to arrive in London where they have visited tourist sites including the Millennium Wheel and soldiers from the King’s Troop on sentry duty in London.

The Albanians are said by official sources to arrive “well schooled and briefed” in how to make asylum or modern slavery claims so that they are released within as little as 24 hours of arrival while their cases are assessed.

Home Office figures on Thursday revealed the number of Albanians crossing the Channel has risen 100-fold in a year. Up to 6,000 are said to have arrived in the UK in 2022 after paying people smugglers. That represents a quarter of the record 24,000 total this year, double last year’s rate.
