Once got kicked out of a night club in my earlier days...
They didn't mess around then....
Was black and blue the next morning.
Respect!!! ;-)
Haven't watched it but I would imagine a lot of them are ex military? I don't think we had bouncers when I was really young but it was the disco era we hardly ever needed them. I`ve spent quite a few nights in clubs in the Far East and I don't remember bouncers there either (many a happy night in the China Jump HK)
Would you respond with respect if a couple of coppers kicked you out of a pub?

It happened a few times in my younger years.
And yes, ive had no problem.

A few times, Ive been the problem and paid the price.

Bouncers or police, they have a difficult job to do.
Ive got respect for both if they act within the paremetres of the law.

Question Author
My issue is that most of my OWN police encounters have not been
'within' the paremetres of the law...

(He cracked his head while falling down slippery steps to the cells M'Lud type of thing,,,,

Anyway, talking about Bouncers, not police...
nor cricket
nor bosoms

;)
I did a few shifts when I was young as most pubs in Bournemouth had doormen & women, wouldn't do it now. I do have to say the women were really good at defusing before any agro started.

Never had any real trouble but it did depend on the venue. One place my best mate worked at in Poole was a real nightmare. It worked out at £5.00 a fight. He left.
