Anyone know how many people were left in russia after the purges and the battle for leningrad. Anyone know how many there were before these thankyou!!

The census of January 1939 recorded that the population of the entire USSR was around 193 milllion. World War II cost Russia about 13% of the population, with losses in Leningrad alone (1941-45) estimated at anything between 600,000 and 1.5m.
