I hate celery!! Cannot see the point of this stringy vegetable.
except in a stew or a sauce, I agree......
I like most of any vegetables. The few I'm not keen on, like broad beans, if put on my plate by someone else, I'd eat them.
blimey all sorts of poisonous plants and berries
and fungi

oops sozza = not keen on butter beans ( skool of course)
perfect or prefect, Peter?
yeh, parsnips!! couldnt stomach them, then somebody told me to cook them with carrots, it seemed to have worked.
Carrots are almost as bad
??? over-boiled, yes.... but julienne them and roast off with parsnip strips, garlic and black pepper added to the oil and roasted for about 20-30 mins given what else you happen to have in the oven, delish....
I’m scared to use my julienne-thingy. I’ve seen too many chefs mangle their fingers. I need some kind of serious protection like chain mail
half-decent knife-skills can make a decent juilenne! make sure that your preferred knife is sharp....
SharonA,celery is great, and it cleans your teeth.
As a child I found aubergine to be a bit weird...but I loved my mum's aubergine parmigiano. Really love aubergine now...has to be soft and full of olive oil and garlic. Goes so well with lamb.
Spinach! Out in No. 1 place definitely. Then, in no particular order:-
overcooked cabbage, broad beans (OH loves and grows them - I have a freezerful), okra, marrow and mushy peas. I'm not keen on most of the others, but eat them (in as small a quantity as possible) becausethey are good for me.
