Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Exactly the same here, Perseverer. An old school Listener of the most enjoyable sort.

Not quite so keen here - there was some duplication of material, and clue surface readings were often strained or surreal

Great puzzle.
No letter collecting or grid staring, just a lot of tricky clues and a theme that was easier to identify than to implement.

Quite a task to complete, but the pace was even, and it wasn't unpleasant at any stage. I don't mind the stretched clues, but I agree the duplication was a bit meh, as the young folks say (or at least did 10 years ago). Many thanks, KevGar!

Not very satisfactory. We are satisfied that we have completed the puzzle correctly without having to parse all the clues.

I tpp completed without full parsing. I suspect the "duplication" is not duplication, but does return us to a controversy of yesteryear. All that said, an enjoyable workout

I enjoyed it,. I agree that it would have been a bit better without the thematic duplication, though I don't think that detracts hugely. Re Philoctetes' comment, I can see how one apparent duplication could be seen to be two separate items, but not all of them.

I think it's a bit unfair to criticise the puzzle on the grounds that it could be completed with solving all the clues. That is often the case with puzzles having fully checked entries or entries that can be filled in only one way. I would not risk sending in my entry if I hadn't solved one particularly tricky clue.

Loved trying to match the amended entries with the corresponding clues.

Like others I think I have correctly completed the grid but there are some question marks.
