If a Property that you are going to be living in doesn't appear on the Land Registry and doesn't come up on any Internet Sites bu just searching on the PostCode, should you be worried??

I am moving on Saturday into a Rented Flat (63A, not 63) and no searches locate it and it doesn't seem to be on Land Registry. Should I be concerned??

It would normally mean that the land is still unregistered (with the Land Registry). There's no compulsion on landowners to register land - until it changes hands through sale.

Thank you for your Answer. I checked with the Landlord and it is on Land Registry but only recently, so I guess that's why it hasn't appeared on anything!!

Thanks,
