Three people go to a restuarant for some food, there's a deal on for 3 meals
for �30 which they think is a bargain and all cough up a tenner each.

The waiter takes their money but realises, as its a Sunday, that the deal is
now �25. knowing that he cant split the fiver change evenly between three
and being a bit of a sly devil he decides to keep �2 for himself and gives
each customer �1 back.

So each person pays �9 and the waiter keeps �2 for himself.

Given that the site gives a list of previously submitted questions of this nature, on which my question did not appear, I was not aware an indepth search was required.

Answers appreciated, not rude comments.
There is no other �1.

Its �9 +�9 +�9 MINUS �2 which gives the �25 the restaurant wants and has.

Of the other �5, �3 has been returned to the customers and the waiter has �2, making �30
