Or there is a scene in "The Victors" where the troop are made to witness the execution by firing squad of a deserter and the soundtrack plays "Have yourself a merry little Christmas".
I too thought I was tired of Love Actually, but I watched it AGAIN
yesterday, it's such a feel good film and I never tire of that iconic moment when Emma Thompson opens her Christmas gift and it's not the necklace she thought it was.
Not really a Christmas film fan, so I will look out for any newish ones that I missed when they came out. I think it's because I don't understand sentimentality.
I love the National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady. I realise the last two aren't actually Christmas movies but they're always on over Christmas and I never miss them!
